Waikīkī Beach Services Activities

Waikīkī Beach Services offers an array of services and activities for guests of all ages and abilities. Surf and SUP lessons are available daily at 8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Outrigger canoe surfing is available from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily. Private Surf Lessons Waikīkī From $90

LEARN TO SURF FROM A WAIKĪKĪ BEACHBOY while visiting Waikīkī. The gentle, rolling waves and sandy ocean bottom make it a perfect place for beginners to learn the art of he’enalu, or “board sliding.” With the experienced and knowledgeable instructors of Waikīkī Beach Services, you can quickly gain confidence and enjoy the thrill of surfing in a safe and supportive environment.

Please note that beginning January 1, 2024, a $1 fee will be collected for each surf, SUP, or canoe ride participant. This fee is for the OSF, or Ocean Stewardship Fund, created by the State of Hawaiʻi and enforced by the Department of Land and Natural Resources. Waikīkī Outrigger Canoe Surfing From $45

Outrigger canoe surfing is an excellent alternative for those seeking an authentic Hawaiian water activity without engaging in a surf lesson. This activity provides an opportunity to surf waves on an outrigger canoe, which has a long-standing history in Hawaiian culture. Waikīkī Beach is the only location where this experience can be enjoyed. Outrigger canoe surfing offers a thrilling ride that showcases the beauty of the ocean and the Hawaiian coastline in a unique way.

Private Stand-Up Paddleboard Lessons From $90

STAND UP PADDLING is rapidly emerging as one of the most popular aquatic sports. The sheltered waters and picturesque setting make Waikīkī an exceptional location for stand-up paddling.

Hawaiian Burial at Sea in Waikīkī From $450

In the Hawaiian culture, when our loved one passes on, we do not say goodbye but “a hui hou”, or “until we meet again,” as a sign of hope and love. Waikīkī Beach Services provides a simple yet beautiful burial at sea service.
